Requirements:
Participate in strategic initiatives relating to system enhancements and development.
Work with business partners on identifying systems requirements.
Contribute to the corresponding delivery specifications and technical design specifications.
Participate in all phases of projects.
Manage individual tasks and deliverables in order to complete projects on schedule.
Define and analyze problems in terms of systems requirements and modify system design.
Work closely with the other technology departments within Fidelity Investments
Maintain user/external group relationships (Developers, Business Analysts, DBAs)
Education and Experience
Strong experience with Java/J2EE and SOAP 1.1 or 1.2 is required
Background with Clearcase, Linux, SH/KSH Scripting, Perl/Python, RESTful services, XML technologies, Tomcat,
Websphere, WSSecurity and PKI are highly desired
BA/BS preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
A solid understanding of software development, project lifecycles and brokerage business.
Able to act independently under general direction.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at a given time
